Minnesota Law Gives You The Right To Choose

I hear from a customer at least once a week that they are getting pressured to use a certain glass shop for their auto glass replacement.  Minnesota law gives you the right to choose who you would like to do your auto glass replacement.

Insist on Crow River Glass, Inc. to replace your auto glass!  We have experience behind us; we have been in the auto glass repair and replacement business for over 20 years.  Leaks can happen to the best in the business and even directly from the factory, they are typically easy to take care of and we guarantee our work against leaks, so if you have any problems after we have replaced your windshield call or stop by and we will take care of you.  We see all kinds of short cuts that are taken when auto glass is replaced; one of the most common is performing a close cut.  A close cut is when the installer just cuts out the old glass, does not clean off all the old urethane from the frame of the car and just puts the new urethane on top of the old stuff and sticks the new glass back in.  Our auto glass installers take the time to remove all the old adhesive, clean up any rust spots around the pinch weld (the frame where the glass sits) and use a fresh adhesive to install the windshield.

The days of needing to get estimates are gone as well as the days of any auto glass replacement shop being able to set up an insurance claim for you.  Insurance companies are protecting you from insurance fraud, by needing you or your agent to call in a claim and verify the claim is valid and we have contracts with your insurance companies of what they will pay us to replace your glass.  When you call or stop in our office, we would be more than happy to assist you in making a claim or you can call in a claim at your leisure if you prefer and let them know you would like Crow River Glass to do the work and they will fax us over the information so we are able to bill them directly, they will have us in their system and all of our information including our fax number.   If it is during our business hours the claims administrator may conference us in and set up an appointment or we will call you to set up an appointment as soon as we get the information sent to us.  All you will need is your insurance card or policy number and name of your insurance company, there is typically a number on your insurance card to call for claims, otherwise we have most of the claim phone numbers on file here at our office.
